I was trying a new technique (for me) - soaking the paper completely and then painting. It's difficult to get "hard edges" and that makes it sort of unique. I liked the approach with the old man. These are just small sketches. The first one is from my friend Sally Young's photos of Romania. The second one is from my friend and painting buddy, Margaret - on her trip to Italy.

Wet on Wet

Playing with birds
Thought I'd try painting a few birds (just used pictures from the internet). These were fun and I'll probably try some more.
Jeannie's class recent work
It's been a long time since I've posted and I'm sure I've left out some things, but here are a few recent paintings from our Dillsburg watercolor group.
Watercolor meetup
Went to a "meetup" with a friend several weeks ago where we had live models. Here's one of my pictures. I did some sketching on the iPad and I can't find my other sketches. I hope to go again - Great models and the other artists were inspiring!
