We've taken a break from still life painting for an hour after lunch at some of the Monday Classes. These are two of my friends who've posed recently.

I did this painting for a friend and former student who's battling cancer at the moment. (It's her niece and nephew)

Life Drawing/Painting Quick sketches

This week I had an opportunity to do some quick sketch drawing/painting with live models. I'm hoping to continue with this group at the end of Sept. Some of the poses were just a few minutes. Longest was 30 min. Love doing this!

Still Life

Here are a few items I've done recently with my still life group. Feeling a little tired of painting flowers, but then I get to class and see the setups and do it once again.

 Jeannie (our Monday group mentor) - This didn't fit with this category, but Jeannie sat for us during a break from painting flowers on Monday and I got this quick sketch of her.

Did this the other day from a friend's photo. I liked the guy's expression. I probably won't finish it, though.
