Life studio and portrait quickies from Monday class

Opie and Hank

These are two of my 5 "granddogs". I did this as a present for my stepson and his wife this Christmas.

Commissions

I had a number of commissions to complete around Christmas. Here are a few:

This is one of my good friend, LeeAnn and her husband, Craig. I had taken many shots of them outside of their historic house, but thought they looked a bit "hokey", so they posed for me after church one day and I liked the extreme closeup.

I had an extremely hard time getting photos of these two - since they were too far away to take my own photos.

I just followed this little boy around his yard while we chatted and I snapped photos. Very photogenic!

Blue Still Life - Monday Painters

Figure Drawing Group AAH

Here are just SOME of the watercolor sketches done with the Thursday night group at Art Association of Harrisburg.

Sketches from "Coffeehouse Sketching" class

These are just some of the sketches I did using a fine tip marker (most of these are from the Carlisle Panera Bread ). Sorry to post so many, but I know I like looking at other people's sketches. These were done very quickly (trying not to be noticed as I sketched) using a continuous line type of sketching.

Security Blanket

I took this reference photo back in January, when my sister was visiting with her grandkids. This is my great niece, Izzy. I did not exaggerate those eyes.
