Plein Air - July

Painted this one morning (approx 2 hours) at a house in Camp Hill.

Guardian of the Gallery

This is my biggest painting so far and it was minutes away from being put into the "never show to anyone" file, but after darkening his suit, I liked him better. (He's still probably not finished, but I'm tired of him) This was on a full sheet and it was pretty daunting. BTW, he was a guard at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Unfortunately I didn't get his name.

Nita

My sister in law who was visiting a few weeks ago.

Sketches

It's been so long since I posted anything, I've lost track of what I have and haven't posted. I thought I'd start with some "sketches".

Here are some very quick sketches of friends (live models).

More quickies done in the Monday Free Spirit Watercolor class.

These were done while I was visiting family in FL this May. Plein air from my parent's town and quick sketch of my niece.
